virgula

BOOK, 210X297MM, 2025

Virgula is a publication composed of letters I designed using only the slash key on a typewriter. For me, the slash symbolizes a boundarie, more fitting than the plus sign that now marks the Dutch-Belgium border. With these chance-shaped letters, I wrote a short biography about myself, told from a third-person perspective, leaving out my name as the text gradually loses its objective neutrality. So the text begins with my date of birth and ends with the name I would have liked to have had in another life.
