TATO GREVE

Tato Greve is an artist and graphic designer who lives and works between Brussels and Amsterdam. She studied art history and graphic design in Ghent and did her master at Werkplaats Typografie. Her work emerges from observation of everyday life, focusing on overlooked gestures and social norms. She expresses her ideas through drawings, self-initiated publications, videos and installations.

Her books are available in Paard van Troje (Ghent), Limerick (Ghent), Walry (Ghent), Rokko (Ghent), Passa Porta (Brussels), Replica (Brussels), Rile (Brussels), San Seriffe (Amsterdam), Hijman (Arnhem), Het Colofon (Arnhem).

Her work has travelled to Offprint Paris (2025), Ghent Art Book Fair 2025, Printed Matter LA Art Book Fair 2025, It’s a Book! Book Fair Leipzig 2024, Ghent Art Book Fair 2024, Printed Matters NY Art Book Fair 2024.

Hechtmappen bieden geen soelaas is what remained after a vacation job that consisted mostly of removing staples from outdated documents. These weeks were the source of fascinations for awkward silences, conversations in elevators, the theft of fluorescent pens and an exploded fan.
